I first became interested in holistic therapies in 1996. Having taken some evening classes in Aromatherapy and Reflexology, I decided to pursue my interests and took the ITEC (International Therapy Examination Council ) in Anatomy, Physiology and Massage. This diploma is usually a pre-requisite for many other therapies and is now more commonly known as Holistic Massage.
At this time I was also selling Aromatherapy oils for Likisma Ltd, so my knowledge regarding oils and their properties did get pretty good! So much so, I gained a diploma from The School of Natural Health Sciences in Aromatherapy in 2004.

During 2001/ 2002, I continued my studying of Reflexology at SCOLA (Sutton College of Learning for Adults, used to be for Liberal Arts!) and completed the ITEC exams, with good passes!

I have also been attuned to Reiki l, ll and lll/ master levels. Reiki is a fascinating subject, so do click the button on the left and follow the links for more information.

Continuing to develop my skills, in July 2002, I attended the Raworth College in Dorking. Suzanne Enzer taught us further Reflexology techniques to use for all aspects of maternity, including fertility and pregnancy treatments. Again, click the button for more information on how reflexology during this exciting time can assist. I have also further studied to incorporate Precision Reflexology (linking techniques) and Vertical Reflexology.

I teach Introduction to Holistic Massage and Introduction to Reflexology as preliminary courses to the ITEC courses run by SCOLA of Sutton and CETS of Croydon, having acquired the City & Guilds Teaching for Adults 7407 qualification.

I also teach various introduction courses with WEA (Workers Educational Association)

During 2005, I trained at the Sandra Day School in Thermal Stone Massage. This is an exciting technique and deeply relaxing treatment using basalt stones and cold marine stones.

I have gained certificates in Acupressure and Kinesiology and whilst I don't offer these as stand alone treatments, I draw on the knowledge and incorporate aspects into my other therapies. I have a practitioners
certificate in Hopi Ear Candling, more of which is explained by clicking the button link on the left.
